Jasmine currently resides in Atlanta, GA, and enjoys writing and producing original independent films under her production company, 4B Films. Her most recent films include Please Hold and Cookie Crumbles. Jasmine enjoys playing comedic and dramatic roles, and her strongest desire is to be cast in television series and feature films.
Jasmine Ahnie was born in Hoboken, NJ, and raised in Brooklyn, NY. From a young age, she was taught to appreciate the arts and particularly showed an interest in acting and dance. As time went on, Jasmine's interest in acting and dance increased, and she went on to attend John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School in Georgia where she studied theater and ballet/pointe. It was there that Jasmine's theater training was developed. She has performed in various theater productions. Her favorite theater role to play was Georgie in Spike Heels during her graduate studies. Jasmine enjoyed playing this character because it was so different from her own character, and she really enjoyed showcasing her comedic and dramatic skills in one role.
After graduating from undergrad with a Bachelors of Science in Communication, Jasmine's interest in acting turned to film. She decided to attend New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, CA to gain the skills needed to persue her career goal, and obtained a Masters degree with honors in Acting for Film. During her program, Jasmine was the producer, writer, editor, and casting director for the film, Change of Heart.
